1.
Fire 01:13
I need a signal A wisp of smoke is all I need To be a symbol Of the place I'm supposed to be So lead me down The path I've found To keep me sound Find me
2.
Smoke Ring 02:00
Oh just another daydream I'm nothing but a smoke ring I'll go where the wind takes me So be my wind inside my head Be my sense of direction My eyes are never open I'm asleep Everything that I know is a dream Spacing off in my head Just another day Just another dream
3.
Aren't we all just different shades of doubt? Pretending that we know our way around All these feelings pouring out Make you feel human somehow Don't say I'm just your first mistake Don't wait til I get better Cause I never will So go away I'm dying just trying to get you out of my head I can't hide it And you won't find it You don't seem to mind it That it's not there Was I dreaming? Your trust was fleeting And now you're leaving It's so unfair
4.
Only Alone 02:16
Only alone can I get some rest from everything you're throwing down And if you know me you know I'm not one to bite my tongue But the blood's dripping out my mouth and on the floor I don't want to hear it anymore I know you're right outside my door You shouldn't have to ask if you're wrong You're no sight unseen You're no mystery And no subtlety It's just missing And what do you want
5.
Walking out the door again I hope the clock stops so I can pretend I didn't look back Like I promised you I wouldn't Everything will stay the same I've got your name written on my hand so I won't forget With the permanent pen that I stole from your house back when You said to hold onto it And write a song about you But I never did And when I return will you still be waiting? In our secret place where we could talk about anything And I mean everything Like where you belong And where I belong And where we belong And where we went wrong

about

No Tide, the brash young pop-punk band from Nebraska might actually be the definition of prolific. In only a couple years they were able to release 3 EP’s, a split 7” and managed to tour around the US a handful of times. “We play music because we love doing what we do, it’s that simple” says singer/guitarist Will Conner. He continues, “We just want to be a band on the road, playing shows and creating music that speaks to us and anyone that wants to listen.”

Their new EP entitled “Daydream” does exactly that. It speaks volumes to what No Tide has achieved in only a couple years of existence. Honest, straight-forward songwriting that lies deep in the roots of punk rock and brings to mind such bands as The Descendents, Hot Water Music or a younger Saves The Day.
